Our own backlink profile, before you check it yourself

Figures from Ahrefs · profile last checked 8 August 2026

If you're vetting a link building agency, you should run its own domain through a backlink tool. Please do. Here's what you'll find on ours — better that you hear it from us, with the reasoning attached.

64

referring domains — every one flagged as spam

63 of 64

nofollow, so they pass no ranking signal

0

Domain Rating, and we're not dressing that up

What those links are

We didn't build a single one of them, and none of them are worth anything. They come from an automated network of near-identical throwaway domains that scrape lists of agency websites and auto-generate pages selling link packages. The anchor text gives it away — it's advertising copy for a link-selling service with our domain dropped into the middle of it. That's a link about us, not to us. Most Indian agency domains collect these eventually.

Why your tool may show a different number

On the same day, Ahrefs reported 64 referring domains and Semrush reported 4. Neither is lying — backlink tools run their own crawlers and their own spam filters, so a network like this can be fully indexed by one and largely ignored by the other. It's worth knowing before you compare any two agencies' numbers, or your own across two tools: a backlink count is a measurement by a specific crawler on a specific date, not a fact about your site. We quote Ahrefs here because it's the less flattering of the two.

Why we haven't disavowed them

Sixty-three of the sixty-four are nofollow, which means they pass no ranking signal in the first place. Google has said since Penguin 4.0 that it discounts spam links algorithmically rather than penalising the site they point at, and the disavow tool is documented for manual actions and links you built yourself. Neither applies here, and we have no manual action. Disavowing links that already pass nothing achieves nothing — while a careless disavow file can strip out links you wanted to keep.

What we do instead

We re-check the profile weekly. A disavow file is already written and ready to submit, with two triggers for actually submitting it: a manual action appearing in Search Console, or the dofollow count climbing past a handful. Today it stands at one. Monitoring is the correct response to inbound spam. Panic isn't, and neither is charging a client to clean up links that were never doing damage.

And the number we won't spin

Domain Rating 0 means we haven't yet earned the kind of links this page describes. We're a young domain doing our own SEO in public, and that part is still in progress. We'd rather show you the real profile and how we read it than a screenshot of someone else's — and the same diagnosis is what you'd get from us about your own site, on day one, in writing.

FAQ

Link building — your questions

Are these links safe? I've been burned before.

Yes. We only build genuine, relevant, white-hat links — digital PR, real editorial placements, on-topic guest content and legitimate citations. We never use PBNs, bought link packages or spam, because those breach Google's policies and eventually get sites penalised.

Your own domain has spam backlinks and DR 0. Why should I trust you with mine?

Fair question, and we've answered it on this page rather than hoping you don't ask. The spam links are inbound — an automated network points them at most Indian agency domains, we didn't build them, and 63 of our 64 are nofollow so they pass nothing. We monitor rather than panic-disavow, because that is what the situation actually calls for. DR 0 is the honest part: we're a young domain that hasn't yet earned the kind of links we build for clients. What you can judge us on is whether our reading of our own profile is accurate — run the domain through a backlink tool and check it against what we've written.

How many links will I get?

We focus on quality and relevance, not a vanity number. A handful of strong, relevant links beat hundreds of weak ones. We agree realistic targets up front based on your niche and competition.

Do you guarantee placements?

We guarantee genuine outreach and quality standards, not specific publications — editorial sites make their own decisions, and anyone 'guaranteeing' placements on top sites is usually selling paid/spam links. We're honest about what's achievable.
